was born about 1675 in Norfolk Co. VA
and died 1736 in Gates Co. (then a part of Chowan Co)
He married Mary Cording
who was the daughter of Thomas Cording and wife Elizabeth.
They lived on Catherine Creek Swamp near Cypress branch
in Chowan Precinct, NC.

Hi! Just found this blog. I believe I may have one, or probably more, relatives listed here. I am a Wynns from KY. Originally from Bertie County, NC. Trying to figure it all out. I see the names Freeman, Ward, and Outlaw all from my Family Tree around the same time and place. The early records from VA and NC are not very good or have been destroyed.
