  1. I am interested in finding proof of the marriage of William Taylor and Winnifred Carter,( daughter of Kindred Carter .). Some sites have her married to
    Rueben Taylor.
    Thanks < Dorothy

  2. Hi,

Do you have any “proof” that Narcissa Carter Brooks is Pheba and Jessie Carter’s daughter? I have been searching for proof for years with no success. I believe the relationship is true but have been unable to locate documented proof.

    Thanks

    Gina

    1. Check with Linda Jensen on this. Lots of “proof’s” were destroyed in fires — both Court Houses and private homes.
Sometimes, we have to settle for circmstansible evidence until we are proven incorrect. Keep your eyes peeled as you study the records.
Sometimes our proof was misfiled in the records. Good luck.
