  1. I am trying to confirm that Lemuel Riddick, one of the children of Christopher and Sally is possibly a direct ancestor of mine. My great grandfather was Patrick Henry Riddick, and I believe his father was Lemuel Riddick (born in 1823) and that Lemuel was the son of a Lemuel Riddick born in 1794. It appears that the Lemuel Riddick born in 1794 was possibly the son of Christopher and Sarah/Sally Riddick. However, if that is the case, Christopher would have been 64 and his wife Sarah would have been 57. That does not appear plausible to me at all. So, something is not correct in my opinion. Do you have any thoughts about this, or can you possibly guide me down the correct path? Thank you so much! I have just started doing some research about my Family Tree and fortunately discovered your website.
