One thought on “John Johnston & Elizabeth Williams”

  1. I am looking for a likeness of John Johnston [1733-1791] married to Elizabeth Whitmel Williams. John Johnston was the brother of Samuel Johnston who was governor of N.C. I have written a book where John Johnston played a key role in freeing an ancestor of mine who had been illegally enslaved. He is the story’s hero and it would be great to have a likeness of him.
