To my said three sons – my manner plantation where I now live containing 255 acres to divide among them.
Remaining estate to be divided among my three sons and three daughters Anna Brown, Winefred Cobb and Rhoda Morriss, with the reserve that my son Thomas shall take the one-sixth part of the remainder in trust for my daughter Rhoda, and that the same shall not be the possession of her husband William Morriss, but may be for her and her children. Wife Catith Cobb – lend the plantation where I now live, also the lands on the north side of the Redbud and Guise Hall Swamp, for her lifetime and at her death to fall to my son William Cobb.
Wife – lend Negroes Moses, Kitt, and Tom for her lifetime, and at her death Kitt shall fall to my son Thomas Cobb and Moses and Tom shall fall to my son William Cobb.

Nov 1815 – the monies from the Nathan Cobb estate were divided among the heirs. Each child and the widow received two pounds, eighteen shillings and five pence. All the girls were married except Penelope at that time.

In Aug 1827 Thomas bought his brother’s William inheritance.

In 1762 Eleanor Cobb is on the tax list; also on the 1763 list.
In 1790 Eleanor Cobb is listed in a household alone.”
