1 Oct 1751 Edward Scull bought 160 ac of land on Deep Creek from Thomas Jones of Petty Shore 30 pounds in Virginia script.
13 Oct 1752 Edward Scull bought 200 ac of land adj. the Wiccacon Ferry Rd, beginning at the bridge on the east side of Deep Creek from Henry Reed for 37 pounds Virginia currency
1755 Edward Scull bought 50 ac of land on the other side of Deep Creek from Gidian Gilbert of Duplin Co for 10 pounds of Virginia currency.
10 Sept 1757, Edward Scull, carpenter, sold 250 ac on Deep Creek for 80 pounds to Joseph Jackson, a factor for the British merchants Thomas Hartley and Timothy Nicholls of the White Haven Company of Cumberland County, England. these were the two parsels bought from Gilbert and Reed.
