– Club members assisted Gerry Embry, State Arbor Day Chairman with the TGC Arbor Day program in which an Aristocrat Pear Tree was planted on the TAMU campus 19 April 1996 in memory of the children killed in the tragedy in Oklahoma City 19 April 1995.
