  1. The Rayner cemetery sits on the corner of the Rayner land. This was the town of Rayners Courthouse. Which still stands today. Rayner was the first county seat in Stonewall County Texas. This is my mother’s family. The two little girls sitting on the porch with their father Emmett Rayner standing behind them. This was in Memphis Tn

    1. That Rayner Cemetery is a different one. of some of the descendants of Sam Rayner and son Elijah in Texas.
The one listed on this page is of some of Sam’s brother’s Joshua’s.

      1. The cemetery on the land of the Rayner Texas Courthouse is of the Same family as the Rayners from NC and Memphis Tn. My mother is sitting on the porch of the Eli Rayner home in Memphis with my grandfather Emmitt Rayner standing up. You have done a wonderful job of on your research for many families. I’m old and somewhat cantankerous but I definitely appreciate all of your hard work by researching for all families.

  2. Hi Sally. Been a few years. I just got some news from one of my Raynor cousins who had a DNA study done which connects him to a descendant of Amos Raynor. This tells me that my William David Raynor b 1754 came from your line but we have to figure out who. Either he descends from John Rainer and Judith Chapel or a brother of this John Rainer. Your thoughts.???
