Edward Browne ca 1600/10 – ca 1668/9 was connected and probably brother to John Browne, Henry Browne, and William Browne of “Four Mile Tree.” In his will signed 18 Nov 1669 and proved 9 Dec 1669 (Davis, Surry Wills, p.8) He mentioned his son Edward, his daughter Elizabeth and wife Ellinor. Overseers to be his friends Robert Flake and Richard Bennett. Witnesses were Martin Luther and John Clarke. The bondsmen for Ellinor Browne as executrix were Thomas Atkinson and John Clarke.
